Updated information about the organization of relief efforts and donations. Thank you to everyone who is helping coordinate this and who is contributing & sending prayers. 🙏🏻❤️

Community Support & Resource Coordination

First, we want to say thank you. Since the storm, we have received an overwhelming number of messages and calls from people offering help… everything from food, equipment, dumpsters, porta potties, and even manual labor. The generosity of this community and surrounding communities has been incredible.

At this time, we are working to coordinate both assistance and needs through a central location so resources can be matched with those who need them most.

The Union City High School has been set up as a resource center where people can go for shelter or other needs. This effort is being coordinated by Kyle Miller and Stacy Guertler, who are helping organize for residents affected by the storm.

• If you or someone you know needs assistance, please go to the High School or contact them there.

• If you would like to donate supplies, volunteer, or offer resources, please let us know or contact the high school. You can drop off food or supplies via the High School.

Again, thank you to everyone who has reached out to help. The support for Union City during this difficult time has been truly appreciated.

Praying for our town and those affected. 🙏🏻 Thank you to everyone who reached out with concern for our safety. We are okay and are so grateful for that but others locally are not. My heart breaks for our community, this was a devastating storm. 😢 But we are a close knit community and will all come together to help our neighbors, friends & family. The high school is open as a shelter for anyone who needs somewhere to go. They’re organizing having food available at the high school today for first responders, lineman, those who lost their homes & anyone in need of a meal. Send prayers for our friends and neighbors here in UC. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Anyone who feels compelled to donate please use the QR code in the comments below and all money will go directly to the people in need.

Both she and Dr. Amanda are doing great! Their other kids Maci, Brady & Madi are already so in love with their little sister. ☺️💕

We have some exciting news to share! Dr. Amanda & her husband Kyle are expecting another baby girl in November. We will continue to run the practice as we have in the past during Dr. Amanda’s other maternity leaves - so don’t worry if you’re part of our patient family, we’ve got it covered! Thank you as always for your support & allowing us to partner with you on your health journey. ☺️🦷

Out as a group tonight to see Almost Queen. It’s always fun to get out of the office together! 😄 It’s a happy night to be together, but also sad because it’s the last show for the historic Kalamazoo State Theatre. Collectively, we’ve been to many shows here over the years and have taken for granted that this theatre would always be here. Here’s to hoping the perfect buyer comes along to carry on the legacy. We’re thankful to be here for this historic last show ending an era! 🎸🤘🏻😊

It’s that time of year again! We’ve entered another pumpkin into Dr. Wilcox’s pumpkin decorating contest. The food & monetary donations received by the contestants go to the South Michigan Food Bank. This year our patient care coordinator/assistant, Teresa, decorated the pumpkin & we think it turned out great! Good luck to all the participants this year! 😄🎃

Welcome to the team, Andrea! We're very excited to announce that Andrea, a dental hygienist, has joined our team and will be helping us to provide the best health centered care we possibly can to our patients. We've taken care in selecting someone special to help care for our wonderful patients & we're so happy she's part of the Miller Family Dental team!

"I grew up on the outskirts of Traverse City (Leelanau county) where I was raised on my family’s centennial farm. I ventured down to Battle Creek to attend Kellogg Community College where I earned my associate’s degree in dental hygiene. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know each one of my patients and help them achieve their oral health goals. I find it very rewarding when patients learn about their oral health when they visit and apply it at home, to then see positive results at the next checkup. I enjoy spending time with my husband Ben, our one-eyed cats Ashe and Willow, and our rambunctious Aussie - Odie."
