Baby teeth usually don’t show up until several months after birth. However, in rare cases, babies can be born with teeth! 🦷

The main difference between natal and neonatal teeth is the timing of when they appear. They most often emerge from the lower front gums. These teeth may be poorly mineralized and prone to quick wear or discoloration.

In some cases, these teeth might not require any treatment. If you experience this with your newborn child, please let us know if you have any concerns about this condition or if your baby is having feeding problems or tongue sores.
