This August, Dr. Wampold and his wife, Julie, had the opportunity to visit Chalco, Mexico with the Little Way Foundation and serve at an all girls school of 3,200 students, some of whom are facing unimaginable hardship. They were able to provide dentistry and other medical care for these girls while working alongside an incredible team of 18 other volunteers from Baton Rouge.
They were also able to experience the once a year birthday celebration for all the girls where they danced, prayed and enjoyed a very special birthday cake.
Every moment spent with these girls served as a reminder of how powerful it is to simply show up with an open heart and willing hands. To witness the joy, resilience and unwavering faith this community held was an unforgettable honor and they came away having been blessed by each child they came in contact with.🤍
