We’ll always miss you, Dr. Kenny. 🤍🕊

Below are the arranged service times.

Dr. Kenneth David St. Romain, Jr., a former resident of Baton Rouge, LA who currently resided in St. Francisville, LA, passed away on May 20, 2022 at the age of 45. Kenny was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and dentist that was well known for his generosity, hospitality, and never meeting a stranger mentality. As an avid outdoorsman and sports fanatic, Kenny’s greatest passions in life were to hunt and fish the great outdoors all the while chanting and cheering on all things LSU. Kenny treasured his family above all else and made sure everyone knew they had a home and good food to come home to. And although dentistry was his career for 19 years, he will forever be remembered for his big, contagious smile, laughter, and heart that would instantly put a smile on all of our faces…even after all the dental work. He was so proud to be a father to his children and a “KiKi” to all of his bonus babies that he and Paydan were honored to call their own. He is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Paydan Jones St. Romain; devoted father to his children, Victoria Rose St. Romain and Jude David St. Romain; beloved fur baby, Dutchess Louise; father, Kenneth David St. Romain, Sr. (Lucillle) and mother, Co**ha Thibodeaux (Ricky); mother-in-law, Terri Jones; sisters, Jennifer Garcia and Heather Monier; step-sister, Rachel Nelson (Jared); brother-in-laws, Joel Morel and Drew Jones (Stephanie); sister-in-law, Kayla Jones Speights (Benjamen); nieces and nephews, Briana and Brandon Garcia, Mollie Latham, Thomas, Luke, and Cade Monier, Davalynn Jones, and Ella Kate and Poppie Blake Speights; and many more loved aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. Preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Edmond and Betty St. Romain and Carlos and Dalia Martinez; father-in-law, Patrick “Dead Eye” Jones; and beloved fur baby, Zsa-Zsa. Pallbearers will be Todd St. Romain, Homer Jones, Sr., Dr. Larry McCaskill, Benjamen Speights, Drew Jones, Nick St. Romain, Zack St. Romain, Dr. Benjamin Record, Dr. Michael Rabel, Dr. Jason Allemond, and Joey Plaisance. Honorary pallbearers are Joey and Jason Poret, Scott Sayer, Dr. Steve Morgan, Dr. Jeff Ward, Dr. Brad Frugé, Dr. Rick Akin, Dr. Steve Brooksher, Dr. Gwen Corbett, Dr. Chad Biggio, Dr. Michael Hiller, Dr. Dustin Kidder, and Dr. Jake Henderson. The visitation and Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:15 pm. Mass immediately following at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Kenny’s honor. The family also invites all family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones to join us for a reception in honor of Kenny at The Renaissance Hotel. Lastly, The St. Romain Family would like to thank: Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Department, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, the multiple fire and rescue agencies, as well as, the numerous surrounding sheriffs’ offices and volunteers for their immense efforts, love, and support.

If you haven’t heard, Dr. Kenny and his son were in a boating accident yesterday. We don’t have much information at this time, but wanted to be transparent in asking for prayers.

We believe there is power in prayer.

Additionally, we ask that we give the family privacy during this time — it is very much appreciated.
