Our patient came to Batavia Family Dental seeking advice from Dr. Steve Sokolovskiy about a small bump on her gum that caused discomfort and made her feel self-conscious about smiling.
After a thorough examination and the necessary dental X-rays, Dr. Steve determined that the growth was caused by an overgrowth of gum tissue rather than an infection.
The solution? Laser removal!
After discussing the treatment options, the patient agreed to proceed with laser treatment. Using local anesthesia to keep her comfortable, Dr. Steve removed the gum growth in just a few minutes!
