(BAKING RIDGE, NJ) The Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce to Host Annual Safe Trick or Treat 10/29, in downtown Basking Ridge. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
Costumed characters both young and old will crowd the walkways to meet local business owners for treats and information. “For over 25 years, the Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce has conducted this project and each year it grows in popularity. It's a perfect way for the business community to provide a safe Halloween experience for the children and also to let the parents know of all the fantastic goods and services provided throughout our area,. The Safe Trick or Treat goes from 11am to 1pm, then new this year, The Chamber Annual Halloween Costume Party is set to take place at 1pm under the tent at the Washington House,” comments BTCC President Al LiCata. Thanks to Chamber Member Washington House for partnering with the Chamber on this new program!
Get your costumes on and walk throughout the downtown area of Basking Ridge and visit with area businesses, get treats and learn about the companies in our Chamber. Chamber Businesses throughout the downtown are participating, so be sure to check before entering to ensure its a Chamber Member Business.
COSTUME CONTEST:
The Chamber Will Have A Sign Up Table Set Up Near Bishop Janes Church. 3 Age Groups, awards for top 3 in each category. At 1pm, come to the Chamber Table and the Top 10 in each category will be taken to the Tent at Washington House for final judging and awards! Thanks to the Washington House for their support in this New addition to this annual Chamber Tradition!
Should the weather pose a threat, check with our Chamber Office starting at 9:30am on Saturday, October 30th.
Parents and all participants need to do their part to make the Safe Trick or Treat an enjoyable time for all.
