Struggling with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and can’t tolerate CPAP? A mandibular advancement device (MAD) might be the solution.
can help :

These custom oral appliances work by gently moving the lower jaw forward during sleep, helping keep the airway open and reducing snoring and apnea episodes.

🦷 What’s the dentist’s role?Dentists trained in dental sleep medicine play a key part by:• Screening patients for signs of OSA• Collaborating with sleep physicians for diagnosis• Designing and fitting custom MADs• Adjusting the device for comfort and effectiveness• Monitoring long-term oral health and treatment success

MADs are especially useful for patients with mild to moderate OSA or those who cannot tolerate CPAP therapy.

Better sleep isn’t just about comfort—it’s about overall health.

Dr.Iwona is ABDSM diplomate! I can help YOU!

Yes. I am ABDSM DIPLOMATE :)

🦷💤 What does it mean to be a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine?

If your dentist is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), it means they’ve gone above and beyond in training and expertise to help patients with sleep-related breathing disorders—like snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

Here’s what that means for you:

✔️ Advanced Education – They’ve completed extensive training in dental sleep medicine.
✔️ Proven Expertise – They’ve passed a rigorous exam and demonstrated real clinical experience.
✔️ Personalized Care – They specialize in custom oral appliance therapy—comfortable devices that help keep your airway open while you sleep.
✔️ Team Approach – They work closely with sleep physicians to ensure safe and effective treatment.

😴 Better sleep isn’t just about feeling rested—it’s essential for your overall health.

If you or a loved one struggles with snoring or sleep apnea, seeing a qualified provider can make all the difference.
