Dear Patients and Friends,

As we have all experienced for the past 18 months, life has not been the same. For me, this has been an especially difficult time, as we have had much transition in staff, all of whom have been with me anywhere from 10-22+ years, due to COVID. With that said, I am writing to regretfully inform you that as of December 21, 2021, I will be retiring and closing my practice. Effective immediately, unfortunately I will no longer be seeing new patients. This timeline will allow me to follow my active surgical cases for a few more months. This decision has not been an easy one, and after much deliberation, I feel this is the right time for me to do this, at this stage of my career.

I will be referring you back to your dentist so that they can refer you to the practice that they feel will work best for you.

It has been my honor and pleasure to have been given the privilege to provide dental care to you. I will miss seeing you, some whom I have followed for over 30 years.

I am looking forward to spending time with my family, and also pursuing other opportunities where my interests lie.

Our first post of the year! Well, this is shameful. The thing is, most insurance benefits renew annually, so we've been quite busy here. Too busy for fooling around on the internets.

Some fun, new things in the office:

--We have adopted Crest Oral B's "Test Drive" program here. Interested in trying out the Crest Oral B power brush before you buy it? (BTW, we have a $20 rebate for you with your in-office purchase of the Crest Oral B system!) You can do that! We will give you a one-time use brush head and the protected handle and you can give 'er a spin (see what I did there??) in our restroom or in the operatory with your hygienist. Already purchased the power brush but feel like you aren't getting the most effective results? Let your hygienist review with you how using a power brush differs from a manual brush.

I am definitely getting Dr. Goldberg wood paneling for his exam rooms next year.

If all you want for Christmas (or Hanukkah, or Festivus) is your two front teeth, make an appointment to see us in 2016. If you have dental insurance, there is a good chance your benefits renew calendar year, and you could maximize those benefits by replacing a missing tooth with a dental implant. Give us a call and we can check your benefits to see if dental implants are a covered service!

Until then, be comforted that there are no Hawaiian shirts or orange leather chairs at this office.
