We hope to encourage the children in our practice to maintain dental health, excellent oral hygiene and a positive attitude. Dr. Kurt Sturz established Sturz Pediatric Dentistry in 2006 in hopes of creating a safe and welcoming environment to care for the dental needs of kids in Kern County. To the delight of Dr. Sturz and the benefit of our community, Dr. Chad Abby and his family moved to Bakersf
ield in 2009. Having been roommates in dental school, Kurt and Chad knew that they had a common vision for how to practice pediatric dentistry and the desire to work alongside someone they both trusted and respected. In 2011 the practice had outgrown its first office on Truxtun Ave and was relocated to its current location on Brimhall and Calloway where Sturz & Abby Pediatric Dentistry was officially established in 2015. In an effort to continually improve the level of care and attention offered to their patients, Drs. Sturz and Abby recognized the value of integrating orthodontic care into their practice. It is with great excitement that we welcome Dr. Ronconi into our practice. Dr. Ronconi’s character and treatment philosophy are perfectly aligned with the vision of Sturz & Abby Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. We are confident that we will now be able to offer our patients and their families an unparalleled comprehensive pediatric dentistry and orthodontic experience.
