Johnsonville Office:

Meet Dr. Baker! 🩵 Dr. Carol A. Baker, originally from Galivants Ferry, SC, graduated from Aynor High School and went on to earn her degree from Coastal Carolina University before completing a Master’s in Microbiology and Immunology and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2004.

After dental school, she joined Dr. Charles B. Maxwell’s practice in Johnsonville, later becoming owner and now practices in partnership with Dr. Alex Aston at P*e Dee Smiles in both Aynor and Johnsonville.

Dr. Baker is active in organized dentistry, including the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association, where she currently serves as President. She is also an active member of Poplar Community Church. Outside the office, she enjoys time with her husband Skip, family, and friends at their home on the Waccamaw River.
