📣Now Hiring! Smile Team Member (Sterilization Tech and Front Desk)

We're hiring a new Smile Team Member! Perfect for anyone looking for after-school shifts to handle sterilization and keep our orthodontic instruments clean, sterile, and ready for patient care. We will also cross train so you can gain valuable administrative experience, helping check-in patients, make appointments and keep our front office operations running smoothly! Shift available for both our Avon and West Hartford locations at $18/hour.

What We're Looking For:

✅Attention to detail and reliable
✅No dental experience necessary as long as you have an upbeat, positive personality and are willing to learn
✅Available for afternoon shifts in Avon or West Hartford, Monday-Friday (ideally 2-5 pm)

Full-circle moments in orthodontics! 🦷✨

Dr. Menjivar had the best time taking a walk down memory lane to visit her old orthodontist, long-time mentor, and friend, Dr. Chu! It was so special bringing her kids along to show them where her own orthodontic journey first began with the OG himself. (And of course, no trip back was complete without a delicious Wisconsin Kringle! 😋)

Ever wonder when your child should first see an orthodontist? 🤔 The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends a checkup by age 7.

By age 7, most kids have a mix of baby and adult teeth. This gives us a perfect "window of opportunity" to spot subtle issues with jaw growth and emerging teeth while they’re still developing.

Catching things early means we can:
