Late 20s. Teeth completely flat across the top. Not how young teeth should look.

Turned out she had upper airway resistance syndrome, a mild form of sleep apnea. The lack of oxygen at night was making her grind her teeth into rectangles. We got her treated first, then rebuilt what the grinding took off.

When patients ask me for perfectly flat, square teeth, I tell them the only way natural teeth get that way is grinding. That's the problem we just fixed.

Black triangles are often formed after braces/Invisalign or due to gum disease. With porcelain veneers, one would need to drill between the teeth to make them fit. With the Bioclear method I can repair these and do zero damage to the teeth, all in one appointment.

There's a curve your smile is supposed to follow. It's called the smile line. Ideally, the tops of your upper teeth mirror the shape of your lower lip when you smile.

This case had the opposite. The middle teeth were smaller than the ones next to them, so the smile line curved the wrong way. The easy fix would have been ten veneers to redo the whole thing. She wanted four.

Four is harder. The new veneers had to make the small teeth bigger without looking oversized, and blend seamlessly with the untouched teeth on either side. Old stained bonding came off. Highlight veneers went on. Zero drilling, 24 hours, natural result.

This patient came in wanting a full smile makeover. We ended up doing 18 porcelain veneers to fix discoloration, uneven edges, and bring everything into balance.

I designed the smile to brighten things up and make it look more symmetrical, but still very natural. That’s always the goal—healthy, natural-looking teeth that fit the person’s face.

A congenitally missing tooth. One peg lateral (small side ooth). Not enough space to work with for an implant.

To do this right we started with Invisalign to moved the teeth into the right positions. That created space for an implant on one side. Porcelain veneers finished the job, matching the crown on the implant.

Multidisciplinary planning takes longer. The result lasts longer too.

This case required a multidisciplinary approach using orthodontics, the Bioclear Method, and a single porcelain veneer to achieve the final result.

Orthodontic treatment allowed us to place the teeth in a healthier, more ideal position. Bioclear was then used to conservatively refine contours and close spaces, while one porcelain veneer provided the final improvement in shape and color where additional enhancement was needed.

By combining techniques, we can stay as conservative as possible while still delivering a balanced, natural-looking smile that functions properly. 😁🦷

Broken tooth from a freak accident? Most dentists will crown it. That's the wrong call.

Grinding a tooth down for a crown weakens what's still healthy underneath. And all dental work eventually fails, so unless you're planning on dying soon, you'll be redoing it later with even less tooth left to work with.

A highlight veneer fixes the break without damaging the rest of the tooth. Harder to do, easier to live with. Preserve the tooth now. Your future self is going to need it.

Fluorosis damage. Old bonding trying to hide it, doing a rough job. Gum line sitting too low, making the teeth look short.

Fixed the gums first with a cosmetic gum lift. Then 20 minimal prep porcelain veneers replaced the failing bonding and gave the teeth their proper proportions back. Same face, completely different smile.
