Eight years ago, Dr. Farahani took over the practice and began the journey of creating what is now Harmony Dental Wellness. Through her leadership, dedication, and passion for exceptional patient care, she has built a practice centered around compassion, trust, and creating confident, healthy smiles.

We also want to give a very special shoutout to Jeannie, our incredible Lead Dental Assistant, who has been by Dr. Farahani’s side since day one. Hi, I’m Dr. Amera Lawand!

I’ve always been drawn to dentistry because of what it asks of you — precision and compassion in equal measure. It’s a field where the technical work and the human connection are inseparable, and that’s exactly what I love about it.

I’m a graduate of Texas A&M College of Dentistry, and my approach starts with trust. I want you to understand what’s happening in your mouth and why it matters, because oral health and whole-body health aren’t two separate things. Prevention is at the center of how I practice. My honest belief? The best dentistry is the dentistry you never need.

I’m also a bit of a continuing education ju**ie — I’m always taking courses, always looking for better ways to care for my patients. That’s actually how I met Dr. Farahani. We connected over a shared commitment to lifelong learning, and that conversation eventually led me to Harmony Dental Wellness.

Outside the operatory, I’m a new mom, and I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t changed me. Caring for a tiny human every day has a way of reminding you what a privilege it is to be trusted with someone’s wellbeing. When I’m not at the office, you’ll usually find me with my family around a good meal.

I’m so honored to join the warm, thoughtful practice Dr. Farahani has built here. Whether you’ve been part of the Harmony family for years or you’re thinking about your first visit, I can’t wait to meet you!
