If you’ve ever called our office, chances are you already know Dannielle. She’s the friendly voice on the other end of the phone, the reassuring person who helps answer your questions, and the one who makes sure our families feel taken care of from the very first interaction.

But behind the scenes, she is so much more. Dannielle is truly the anchor of our practice — steady, dependable, thoughtful, and always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. She wears more hats than we can count and puts so much heart into making Anchor the kind of place we dreamed and knew it could be.

From Passion to Practice: Dr. Kazi’s Journey to Pediatric Dentistry.
I didn’t expect to leave general dentistry, but looking back, I can see I was missing something I couldn’t quite name at the time.

Working with adults taught me how to diagnose, treat, and move efficiently, but stepping into pediatric dentistry shifted my focus in a completely different way. It slowed me down. It made me more aware of how much the experience itself matters, not just the outcome.

With kids, you earn everything. Their trust, their cooperation, even a quick exam can feel like a big milestone. And when a child who was once scared starts to feel comfortable, it means more than any perfectly done procedure.

What I’ve come to really value is the bigger picture. You’re not just helping them in that moment, you’re shaping how they’ll feel about the dentist for years. If you can make it a positive experience now, it can change the way they take care of themselves going forward and the experiences they will have with their general dentist in the future.

It’s a different kind of responsibility, and one I didn’t realize I was looking for. But now that I’ve found it, I can’t imagine doing anything else.

What a summer it has been! ☀️⚓️💙🦷

One of the best parts of opening Anchor Pediatric Dentistry has been getting to know the amazing families in our community. From the Southlands Farmers Market to Sounds of Southlands and the Southlands Wine Walk, we’ve loved meeting so many of you, sharing smiles, and becoming part of this wonderful neighborhood.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, said hello, introduced us to your little ones, or simply welcomed us to the community. Your kindness and support have meant so much as we’ve put down roots here.
