Dear One Smile Away Family,
We hope that you have continued to stay safe and as healthy as possible during these trying times. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. With ORAL HEALTH being a major part of overall health, it is important that we get back to treating and taking care of our patients as soon as possible in the safest way possible.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and will remain top priority. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and environmentally friendly. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.
“COVID-19 SCREENING” Our office will communicate with you before your appointment or before check in, to ask screening questions related to COVID-19. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. Your temperature will also be taken when you arrive. Any patient with symptoms in line with COVID-19 are kindly asked not to schedule until 14 days after their symptoms have subsided.
“YOUR CAR IS THE NEW WAITING ROOM” In an effort to maintain social distancing and limit the number of people in the office, we will only allow one person at the check-in counter at a time. Our office will communicate with you via text message, cell phone call or hand signaling when it is your turn to enter the office. Patients are asked to come by themselves unless they are accompanying a minor.
“SCHEDULING” Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
“TEXT MESSAGE COMMUNICATION” Our office integrates the highest level of technology and is able to communicate with patients via text message for quick response time. If you have questions related to your appointment, need to make an appointment, or need help in general please, please text 7068336936, visit our website or contact us via Facebook.
We look Forward to seeing you soon....
Thank You For your Patience,
Drs. Ty and La’Quinta Williams DMD
