Do you want to learn more about the tools your dentist uses to keep your smile in tip-top shape? Here are some of the tools we use at truDental of Auburn & Surgery Center that are instrumental in keeping your teeth healthy:

- Dental Mirror: A small, handheld mirror with an angled handle used to view and access areas of the mouth that are difficult to see, such as the back of the teeth or behind molars.
- Scaler: Dental scalers are instruments with a hook-like end designed to remove plaque and tartar from the surface of the teeth. They come in various shapes and sizes to accommodate different areas of the mouth.
- Dental Drill: A high-speed dental drill, or handpiece, is a rotary tool used for various dental procedures, including cavity preparation and tooth reshaping. It may have different attachments for specific tasks.
- Suction Device: Suction devices are used to remove saliva, water, and debris from the patient's mouth during dental procedures. This helps maintain a dry working environment and enhances our visibility.
