At Northwest Smile Center (Rawlins County Dental Clinic), we believe everyone deserves access to affordable, high-quality dental care – no matter where they live or what they earn.

Our commitment goes beyond the walls of our clinic. Through our mobile dental unit and dedicated Outreach team, we serve communities across 13 counties in Northwest Kansas.

Our mobile clinic visits schools, Head Start programs, and other community facilities to provide oral health screenings and preventive care for children. By bringing services directly to them, we reduce the need for travel and help ensure kids receive care in a comfortable, familiar environment.

We do accept insurance during these visits, but families are never charged for the services we provide. This is part of our mission as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

This important work is made possible through grant funding and generous donations, allowing us to continue reaching children and underserved communities with the care they deserve.

Northwest Smile Center is pleased to announce a grant award of $2,000 from Atwood Second Century, to be used for the purchase of a QuietCore+ dental air compressor.

“This compressor is a vital piece of equipment as the clinic simply cannot operate without it,” Deb Pochop, Northwest Smile Center CEO, said. “It runs every piece of equipment in the building by building up air pressure. It is even needed for the water at the sinks in each clinical room.”

This new compressor is 70% more efficient than the clinic’s current equipment, and operates at fewer decibels than a typical face-to-face conversation.

We are honored and grateful for this generous support from Atwood Second Century.
