We placed crowns on the peg lateral and the canine for our 17-year-old patient, and we made a resin-bonded pontic to replace the missing lateral. She had felt embarrassed by the space on one side and the small tooth on the other.

Flossing isn’t about how hard you push, it’s about how effectively you clean between your teeth and care for your gums.

Here’s the right way to do it:
✔ Use enough floss to wrap around your fingers for control and support
✔ Keep it taut and gently slide it between your teeth
✔ Angle the floss slightly and massage the gum tissue, don’t just go straight up and down
✔ Cover every tooth, even the tricky back ones
✔ Remember: only floss the teeth you want to keep!
