Dear Valued Patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your family well and safe.

As Georgia begins to open back up for business, we want to communicate where we are in that process at Embry Hills Dental Care. Although we are an essential business we’ve needed time to implement new infection control procedures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The protection of our patients and our team is our number one priority.

We are following infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

A key change in recommendations involves our staff wearing additional personal protective equipment for certain dental procedures.

Presently, we are waiting for shipments of personal protective equipment to arrive and we will not have an official opening date until everything comes in.

To keep our staff and patients safe, here are some changes you may notice when you visit our office in the future:

•We will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions about your health and potential exposure you may have had to anyone with Covid-19.

•We will take your temperature before your appointment.

•We will have hand sanitizer available and ask you to use it when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

•Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, and so forth since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

•To reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time we will ask you to wait in your car until it’s time for your appointment. We will text or call you when it’s time to come in. If you are a caregiver for a patient you may accompany them inside if needed, or you may choose to wait in your car and we can alert you when the appointment is finished.

Additionally, we’ve purchased a number of medical-grade air filters that will run at all times throughout the office to purify the air of microbes.

Thank you in advance for your understanding as we implement these changes. These precautions are necessary to protect all who enter our office and to protect our team.

👉 Notice of Temporary Closure of Embry Hills Dental Care

Dear valued patients and friends,

A lot has changed in a week, hasn’t it? Covid-19 has altered all of our lives very quickly. We hope and pray the duration of its impact on all of us can be shortened and lessened through the decisive action of individuals, businesses and organizations.

In the interest of protecting our patients, our staff and our community we believe the wisest course of action is to close our office to non-essential dental procedures effective immediately.

We are acting in accordance with the recommendations of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. We hope this step, in concert with the actions of many others, will help to .

During this temporary closure, we WILL be available to help with emergency dental needs. All patients who have appointments scheduled during the closure will be contacted to reschedule.

If you’re wondering if your upcoming dental procedure qualifies as “essential” please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs.

We encourage each of you to do all you can to stay healthy. Please practice social-distancing, wash your hands and disinfect surfaces so we can all return to normal as soon as possible.

I love coming to the dentist. Dr. Robinson is very thorough and kind and we always end up talking football. Robin is an awesome dental hygienist. It is the best place I have been. Dr.Robinson is very professional, and Amy my hygeniest is absolutely wonderful. Couldn't expect a better service. And the office is beautiful.

Dr. Robinson's office is fantastic. Highest competence and friendliness from everyone there. Dr. Robinson did three crowns for me in the last few years and they are perfect. All the equipment is state-of-the-art, and the assistants are well-trained and excellent.
