šŸ¾ **Meet Mandolin ā€“ Looking for His Forever Home!** šŸ¾

Wellā€¦ I definitely wasnā€™t planning on fostering a *third* dog šŸ˜…, but when I saw this sweet boy had been pulled from the euthanasia list at DeKalb, I couldnā€™t say no. ā¤ļø

**Mandolin** is approximately **7.5 years old** and is the definition of a low-maintenance companion. Heā€™s incredibly sweet, calm, and easygoing. Since coming home, heā€™s gotten along great with my dogs, has wonderful manners, and seems happiest sniffing around the yard, lounging on the couch, and soaking up a peaceful environment.

For the first couple of days, I think he was just relieved to feel safeā€”he practically slept on the couch nonstop. Now that heā€™s settling in, heā€™s showing a little more personality while still keeping that laid-back vibe.

A few things about Mandolin:
šŸ¶ Gets along with dogs and kids
šŸ›‹ļø Loves naps, snuggles, and relaxing beside his people
šŸŒæ Low energy and easy to care for
šŸ¤« I havenā€™t even heard him bark yet
šŸš½ Good potty habits (he politely prefers the pine straw!)
šŸ  Chicken allergy, but happily eats salmon-based food and enjoys treats like kale, sweet potatoes, potatoes, watermelon, and even mango chips

Honestly, heā€™s just a really good boy looking for someone to love him.

Iā€™m fostering him, but after spending time with him, I canā€™t imagine him ending up back where he came from. If you or someone you know is looking for a sweet, calm, low-maintenance best friend, please reach out.
