🐾 **Meet Mandolin – Looking for His Forever Home!** 🐾

Well… I definitely wasn’t planning on fostering a *third* dog 😅, but when I saw this sweet boy had been pulled from the euthanasia list at DeKalb, I couldn’t say no. ❤️

**Mandolin** is approximately **7.5 years old** and is the definition of a low-maintenance companion. He’s incredibly sweet, calm, and easygoing. Since coming home, he’s gotten along great with my dogs, has wonderful manners, and seems happiest sniffing around the yard, lounging on the couch, and soaking up a peaceful environment.

For the first couple of days, I think he was just relieved to feel safe—he practically slept on the couch nonstop. Now that he’s settling in, he’s showing a little more personality while still keeping that laid-back vibe.

A few things about Mandolin:
🐶 Gets along with dogs and kids
🛋️ Loves naps, snuggles, and relaxing beside his people
🌿 Low energy and easy to care for
🤫 I haven’t even heard him bark yet
🚽 Good potty habits (he politely prefers the pine straw!)
🍠 Chicken allergy, but happily eats salmon-based food and enjoys treats like kale, sweet potatoes, potatoes, watermelon, and even mango chips

Honestly, he’s just a really good boy looking for someone to love him.

I’m fostering him, but after spending time with him, I can’t imagine him ending up back where he came from. If you or someone you know is looking for a sweet, calm, low-maintenance best friend, please reach out.
