But, here's the truth: knowing what to expect makes all the difference.

Let's talk about exactly how your first visit works, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave with a plan.

Happy Mother’s Day tomorrow from my heart to yours 💛

Being a mom is the greatest thing I’ve ever done, and also the hardest. It has made me a better endodontist, a better partner, and a better person.

Every day I get to show my daughters that you can build a life you love, lead with purpose, and still make it home for dinner (most nights 😄).

To my husband: thank you for being the foundation that makes it all possible. None of this works without you.

To every mother out there: you are doing something extraordinary. Whether you’re in the office, working with patients, or in the carpool line, you show up every single day. That matters more than you know.

Wishing you a day full of rest, love, and someone else doing the chores. 🤍

A smooth recovery comes down to a few simple steps. Read to see what to do (and what to skip) in the days that follow.

Both play an important role in your dental health - but they’re not the same.

A general dentist handles overall care, while an endodontist specializes in diagnosing tooth pain and performing procedures like root canals.

When things get complex, seeing a specialist can make all the difference in saving your tooth.

Most of what people think they know comes from outdated experiences - not modern endodontics. 🦷

If you’ve been putting off treatment because of fear, this is your sign to get the facts. Have other questions? Leave them in the comments.

Hearing the word “resorption” can feel overwhelming, but it’s a condition we see and manage regularly.

With modern 3D imaging, we can accurately diagnose the type and extent of resorption and create a treatment plan or choose to monitor it over time.

In many cases, treatment may not require extraction. Options like monitoring or repair can help extend or even save the life of the tooth.

Understanding your condition is the first step toward the right care.

Cracked teeth are a common concern, especially in lower molars, and often present with biting pain or sensitivity to cold.

Treatment depends on the severity — some cases can be resolved with a crown, while others may require both a root canal and a crown, and yet some require extraction to fully address the problem.

If you’ve had a root canal in the past but are starting to feel discomfort again, you’re not alone.

Endodontic retreatment is often needed when symptoms return. This can happen if the original treatment needs improvement or if new issues—such as decay or cracks—affect the tooth over time.

The goal of retreatment is to address the underlying problem and help preserve your natural tooth whenever possible.

If something doesn’t feel right, it’s worth getting it evaluated.

Children are active, and dental injuries are more common than you might think.

Whether from sports, falls, or everyday play, it’s essential to properly diagnose and treat these injuries early.

In many cases, we can maintain the health of the tooth without needing to do full root canal treatment. The goal is to provide conservative treatment that eliminates any symptoms and allows for continued root growth when needed.

If your child experiences dental trauma, don’t wait—early intervention is key.

Tooth resorption is more common than most people realize, and it can occur in two primary forms: internal and external.

Internal resorption begins within the tooth’s nerve system, while external resorption affects the outer structure of the tooth and is more frequently seen.

Many patients don’t experience significant pain, which is why this condition is often discovered through imaging rather than symptoms.

The good news is that treatment doesn’t always mean losing the tooth—many cases can be monitored or treated to extend the life of the tooth.
