Athens Dental Services is sad to announce the retirement of Dr. Philip Tregoning effective December 31, 2026. Dr. Tregoning has been treating the dental needs of the people of Athens, Limestone County, and all of North Alabama for 31 years. Affectionately known as Dr. T, he will be missed by his patients and staff. A retirement reception will take place in December. More details will come later.

September is Dental Office Manager Appreciation Month and we can’t let the month get by without featuring our own office manager, Sandra!

Sandra has worked at Athens Dental Services for nearly 28 years, starting as a dental assistant, then moving to insurance coordinator, to front office and now, office manager. Sandra is a jack-of-all-trades, somedays being the plumber, electrician, IT, office repair, janitor, or whatever else needs to be done. Most days she is doing the bookwork, paying bills, managing any advertising, putting out fires (not literal), and answering any questions from the doctors, staff, and patients.

Athens Dental Services appreciates her commitment and loyalty to the practice!💫
