RIP Cerina Fairfax, DDS. A respected Virginia dentist, practice owner, and devoted mother whose life of service ended in tragedy in April 2026. Authorities say she was killed in her home by her estranged husband, Justin Fairfax, in a murder su***de while their two teenage children were present.
Cerina built a successful family practice after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, earning a reputation for compassionate, patient centered care. Colleagues and patients remember her as steady, kind, and deeply committed to others.
She leaves behind two children, a grieving community, and a profession shaken by the loss of one of its own. A life defined by care ended in a moment of chaos.
