Greater Loudoun Study Club is an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club. "Seattle Study Club, Inc. is an international network of doctors interested in furthering their knowledge to provide excellent care to each and every patient that comes into their practice. There are over 250 clubs in the network located in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, China and Spain. Each club meets re

gularly for interactive educational programs, discussion on the latest developments in dentistry and presentations by world-renowned clinical speakers. These meetings provide a forum for each member doctor to discuss and plan cases with the collective knowledge of the entire group. We are often asked what makes this organization so special. For all of us who are part of the network it’s clear, but also difficult to articulate. It’s easy to touch on the typical highlights of what we do, list the tangible tools we provide and talk about the national events, but none of that really gets to the core of why we do this or why the network has grown from Dr. Cohen’s original club to over 250 clubs around the world over the past 20 years. The Seattle Study Club organization provides all sorts of tangible tools to manage a study club, but that isn’t what makes this particular network so special. We provide the knowledge and support to join our existing “university without walls” as well as create one on your own in your community, but that’s not the only thing that makes us special either. We work every day to help our members strengthen their practices, enhance relationships with peers and increase impact on the dental community. We generate dozens of new ideas every year to help our members accomplish their goals. Our local clubs offer educational experiences that exceed the highest expectations of excellence. Clinicians within the Seattle Study Club organization are motivated to learn more and achieve a higher level of comprehensive care for their patients. The Seattle Study Club network is a true university without walls, providing so much more than continuing education for dentists—we cultivate knowledge, understanding, collaboration and camaraderie and, together, we continue to impact the way dentistry is practiced. We had a great kick-off meeting last night at River Creek Club!
Dr. Ivica Ducic, MD, PhD presented on the management of oral nerve injuries. Dr. Ducic is an expert in the field and was a dynamic speaker.
It was fun to get together with everyone after the summer break!.

Welcome to the 20th Anniversary Year of Greater Loudoun Study Club!
This year we have taken our tools in hand and built a custom selection of CE courses based very specifically on a foundation of your input and requests!
We’re offering you live in-person speakers as we take a break from video- based courses.
We site our treatment planning sessions back home, using local cases from our own members to dig into the preferences and practices of the professionals around you.
Your office will be able to join you for info we need on educating ourselves and our patients about medical/dental correlations.
You wanted some hands-on work, and we will have Dr. Marcos Vargas here, with help from 3M, letting you get your hands dirty with some esthetic zone restorations.
Our specialists will help you construct reliable strategies for controlling Peri-Implantitis.

Last night we wrapped up our Greater Loudoun Study Club year with a fun evening of fellowship and competition! Breaking into teams, members built bridges-get it?dental bridges?-out of straws.
Congrats to Dr. Sue Kim & Dr. Ahmad Imaney for building an AMAZINGLY strong bridge!

Our final program of the year introduced cutting-edge techniques in digital design.
