Hi all! Dr. Lynn here. 👋🏼 As we approach our 6th anniversary, my brother and I are incredibly grateful to see a dream we planted years ago grow into something so meaningful. 🌱 What started as a seedling of an idea— a small and humble dental practice where we can offer education and empathy hand-in-hand with specialized dental care at the highest standards—has blossomed beyond anything we imagined.

Our 3-year prosthodontics residency gave us the skills to deliver precise, specialized treatment, but it’s the relationships we’ve built that have truly defined our journey. From celebrating life’s milestones—like baby announcements and graduations—to offering support and crying alongside our patients through illness and loss, we’ve been honored to be part of our patients’ lives in ways that go far beyond dental care. ❤️

Six years (and one global pandemic) later, we’re proud to be a thriving, compassionate dental home. I’m so thankful to care for our patients alongside a hardworking, dedicated team of women who also share this philosophy, and without whom this dream would not be possible!

Hopefully this can serve as a reminder to all that dreams truly can come true. 🫶🏼

On the 12th day of Christmas, Loudoun County got snow! ❄️ Lux Dental Center is closed today due to inclement weather. 🌨️ We will be reopening tomorrow (1/7/25) with a delayed opening at 1 PM to allow our patients and team members time to safely travel to our office. In the meantime, you can always call or text us at (571) 485-2900 if you ever have any dental concerns or questions!

As for any parents who are working today, we sincerely hope you can sneak in some fun with your kids! Work will always be there for another day, but these days and years with the kids are short, and there is always so much fun and memories to be had on Snow Days!

We all hope you have a very fun, warm, and cozy Snow Day! ☃️

We hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving with their loved ones! 🦃

We are so thankful for the dedicated and hardworking team of women (including Daniela and Leeya, who are not pictured) whom we are so lucky to call our coworkers! Without them, we would not be able to offer our patients the compassionate and thorough dental experience that we strive for on a daily basis. Because of our team’s commitment to helping each other and their patients, they serve as the well-oiled moving parts to our office that allow Drs. Jason and Lynn to focus on providing the best dental care for their patients. Thank you truly for all that you do every single day Daniela, Jessica, Joëlle, Kadijah, Leeya, Libby, Marie, and Michelle! 🧡🥹

And in true fashion, after days of turkey leftovers and stuffing, Dr. Alexander brought her kids in to get their hygiene appointments checked off the list. Dr. A’s 20-month old daughter did great at her first hygiene visit, and her 5-year old son lost his first tooth! 🦷 I guess you can’t say your mom is a dentist if you don’t get dragged in for dental cleanings on Thanksgiving weekend! 🤪

We hope you all had a spooky, safe, and FUN Halloween! 🎃 Dr. Alexander and her family had a blast and (much to her chagrin) copious amounts of SUGAR! 😅 Despite the massive sweet tooth in the Alexander household, rest assured that all teeth were carefully brushed and flossed last night! 😉🦷🪥

Speaking of spookiness, scroll to the end to catch a glimpse of what Halloween was like in our office yesterday! 👻 Our intrepid dental assistant Jöelle was on hand to assist Jason of Friday the 13th fame with some dental surgery on our dental hygienist Libby! (We promise no dental personnel were harmed in the making of these photographs. 🤭)

On a cloudy autumn evening a few weeks ago, our team enjoyed a heartwarming evening at ! We laughed, ate some delicious food, and snapped some pictures during the rare moment when we’re not all wearing scrubs (aka glorified pajamas) to work! Dr. Jason and Dr. Lynn are so very grateful for this group of talented women without whom we would not be able to give our patients the personalized and compassionate experience we always strive for! ❤️

For laughs, scroll to the very end for the moment when Dr. Jason (aka the little brother) attempted to give his big sister a piggyback ride. 🤭 We’re happy to report that Dr. Jason did not break his back and Dr. Lynn did not break her neck. 😅

“I found Lux Dental Center on Google and decided to schedule an appointment after reading countless 5 star reviews. Let me start by saying, the reviews are no joke! I had such a wonderful experience. Everything is so clean, all of the technology seems to be new and high tech. Every staffer I encountered was kind.

I saw Dr. Jason and he was kind, knowledgeable and patient. Very honest, doesn’t try to sell you on anything, and takes the time to explain everything to make sure you understand. I never once felt rushed by him as I have by other dentists in the past. Also, Michelle, the dental hygienist who performed my cleaning did an excellent job! My teeth look and feel great. For a second year running, we are the proud sponsors of the , which is dedicated to offering a source of hope and support for su***de prevention. We were first introduced to the AFSP by our dear patient and friend, Amanda. Her son Albert sadly succumbed to su***de a few years ago, and she has made it her mission to spread as much awareness and support to the Northern Virginia area.✨

Last weekend, Dr. Jason, Dr. Lynn and her family, our dental hygienist Libby, Libby’s mom, and Libby’s fur baby Doodle all joined Amanda and her husband Lee in the Out of the Darkness walk at . We walked for and all victims of su***de, as well as their families. 🕯️ It was a very humbling reminder to always choose to be kind as we never know what personal struggles anyone is dealing with at any given time. ❤️

I don’t know about you, but with the crisp morning we had yesterday, we think it’s officially autumn and the hot humid days of summer are finally behind us! 🍂

To the students walking to the bus for another year of eye-opening education, the parents waking before sunrise to pack lunches, and the teachers and staff who run the classes and schools that nurture and cultivate our community’s youngest minds, we hope you all had a wonderful first day back to school! 🚌🎒✏️📚

Dr. Alexander’s son started his first day of kindergarten, and it was a raging success, thanks to the support and love of neighbors and friends. He’s incredibly lucky to have two amazing teachers this year, and we know he’ll be in the best of hands with them! 🥹

A huge shout-out to all the incredible teachers and staff of Loudoun County Public Schools who work tirelessly and put forth so much of their personal time, love, and patience to bring our community’s kids the best education around! 🫶🏼 We thank and applaud you. 🙏🏼
