Once the images are taken, Dr. Friedman will discuss your concerns with you, and ask questions about your dental, medical, and orthodontic history. She will then perform a thorough exam of your teeth, jaws, and surrounding musculature and TMJs. Having collected all of the data from the images, your interview, and the physical exam, Dr. Friedman will take as much time as necessary to make sure you, and your child, if they are the patient, both understand every aspect of the clinical findings, clinical diagnosis, preliminary treatment plan ( including length of treatment and whY it is the most prudent approach to correcting any and all issues and that everyone is comfortable and happy with the high quality of treatment results that will be attained. At West Arvada Orthodontics we believe in answering every question and concern a patient and/or parent may have regardless of time. By designing one-of-a-kind systems we have insured there will not be a time crunch during the consultation as we feel strongly that spending the extra time to teach the patient, and parent if applicable, the medical side of what we as clinical providers are seeing, but most importantly, we believe that orthodontic treatment should be conducted is a collaboration between the doctor, the assistants and most importantly the patient and their family. Is this type of relationship that leads to the best results, and frankly, we believe that is our duty to fully educate each and every patient so they can make informed decisions about their treatment no matter how big or small. As a harmonious collaborative team with the patient is the primary decision-maker, work are able to obtain the highest quality results which go far beyond a perfect smile.

Have we invested heavily in the latest and most cutting-edge technology available in orthodontic treatment? Absolutely! Is Dr. Friedman and experience caring, compassionate, and extremely passionate orthodontist with a unique set of skills for which she’s known for internationally and has been cited more than 100 times in academic publications all over the world? Again, absolutely! However, what makes Dr. Friedman and West Arvada orthodontics so special is our divergent philosophy and approach to education and collaborative treatment the patient and the entire family starting from the initial visit and continuing throughout the treatment. We treat every patient as if they were a close family member. Everyone has Dr. Jennifer Friedman’s cell phone as well as her husband Ronen Friedman’s cell phone who is the CEO of the practice. Ronen Friedman who is a medical doctor and has an MBA in healthcare system design can often be found avoiding his desk duties and instead teaching the kids, and frankly many adults, about the microscope slide of the day. We do not believe in inundating kids with iPads and noisy games designed to distract them from a hectic conveyor belt of overbooked patients in clinic and in waiting rooms. Instead we have created a family oriented, collaborative, relaxing and soothing practice where every patient can control the amount of stimuli they are exposed to in every part of the clinic( sound , light, touch, pressure, interactions, and so on.

We believe in bringing harmony to our patients’ smiles but we also believe in bringing harmony to their lives by addressing clinical issues which many other practitioners often ignore addressing only aesthetic concerns, but also by creating a uniquely serene environment for every patient of every age.

We, doctors Friedman are very much aware that we have set the bar very high, but we are determined to provide the highest quality care in the most unique and friendly environment possible and have spent the last several years designing a one-of-a-kind orthodontic office. We are also extremely proud and lucky to have found such wonderful staff who are both extremely smart and talented. But more importantly, they are caring, compassionate, and like us have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and improvement.

Since one of the most annoying and stressful activities in the world is attempting to have a conversation with an insurance company, we have taken it upon ourselves to not only call every insurer and verify our patients benefits but also to advocate for them every step of the way. Not only will we ensure that your or your child’s orthodontic treatment is pain free, but we promise that it will be both enjoyable, relaxing, educational, and dare we say… Fun!

Lastly, we have designer schedule around our community. We are open five days a week with some days starting early mornings so the kids don’t miss school and that adults don’t have to miss work, and other days we are open until the late evening, as well as being open on Saturday. We love our community and is truly an honor to be able to play a small role in helping our fellow neighbors. So that is it. That is how you are individualized and unique initial visit/consultation will progress and that is the philosophy that has driven us to build this unique practice in our community. After the consultation, we schedule enough time for the patient to start treatment the same day if they wish to do so. The treatment portion of the visit does not take very long, but we believe you will find it enjoyable as you will be surrounded by palm trees and ferns, relaxing music and unique architecture meticulously designed and built to provide a sense of comfort. We invite any and all family members to join the patient in clinic or they can always help Dr. R Friedman procrastinate and get a detailed lecture on your choice of hundreds of slides as well as 3D teaching programs which have been modified to to be not only attractive but controlled by a unique controller while being projected more than 10 feet up on the wall. It just so happens they correspond to the microscopic specimen of the day.

There are also some unique and fun surprises on your first day, but we shouldn’t ruin the surprise and hope to have the honor to meet and serve you and your family in any way we can.
