Dr. Bennett was so moved by the response that he matched your generosity with another 600 items, bringing our total to over 1,200 items delivered to The Action Center in Lakewood.

That’s an estimated 6,000–15,000 meals for local families during one of the hardest times of year. 🧺✨

From one generation of ADC family to the next: A Legacy of Service 🇺🇸

On Veterans Day, we honor the timeless spirit of the American soldier. While the battlefields and uniforms change, the courage to serve is a legacy passed down through our family.

THE FOUNDATION // A Fight to Save Lives
Our tribute begins in World War II with Colonel Murchison, a leader in General George Patton’s Third Army. He commanded the 101st Evacuation Hospital, leading heroes who fought not to take life, but to save it.

➕ Did You Know?
Evacuation hospitals were groundbreaking mobile surgical units. They moved constantly with the front lines, and the medics under Colonel Murchison’s command performed life-saving surgery in tents, often under fire, giving thousands of soldiers a fighting chance to come home.

THE LEGACY // A New Generation Answers the Call

Decades later, that same spirit of duty answered the call again. Today, we proudly honor that legacy as it lives on in our own ADC family:
Specialists Trevor & Troy Elwood.

As members of the Army National Guard serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Trevor and Troy represent the modern American soldier. They stood up for their country in a new era, facing different challenges but demonstrating the same profound dedication. Their service is a powerful reminder that the promise to protect our nation is an unbroken chain.

From a grandfather's mission to heal our soldiers to a brothers' mission to defend our freedom, their stories are two parts of the same great American legacy.
