Let’s start with CAVITIES

DID YOU KNOW - A cavity doesn’t have to cause pain to grow/spread weakening the tooth, which leads to abscess and or total tooth loss. So, going to the dentist for a routine checkup is important.

UNTREATED CAVITIES will spread and result in tooth loss. Additionally, the bacteria that caused the decay can spread to other teeth. The result? More cavities as well as the possibility of gum disease and other systemic health issues.

Please address these early. Doing so prevents systemic health problems like heart disease and enables proper nutrition.

There is a long list of dental issues that we need to take seriously.

The top two Cavities and Gum Disease can be prevented simply by flossing, brushing rinsing your teeth, and cleaning your tongue (at least two times a day). Avoid foods that cause cavities ‘SUGAR’. Avoid frequent snacking (where food gets stuck and stays for hours). Consume foods that protect teeth like dairy products (cheese and milk), and fruit and vegetables to not only protect but neutralize acids.

And drink Water!! Water rinses your mouth and keeps saliva levels high.

The next is a missing tooth.
Sure, if it’s not in the front, most live with it. But not replacing a missing tooth leads to progressive, long-term oral health issues.
Issues such as shifting of adjacent teeth, jawbone loss, and uneven bite pressure. These consequences can cause neighboring teeth to loosen or break, lead to facial structure changes (sunken look), increase risks of gum disease, and cause chronic TMJ pain or headaches.

Please address these early. Doing so prevents systemic health problems like heart disease and enables proper nutrition.
