For many people with mild to moderate sleep apnea, a custom oral appliance can be a comfortable, effective alternative to a CPAP machine.

It works by gently repositioning your lower jaw to keep your airway open during sleep. No hoses, no noise, no fuss.

✨ Better sleep can be simpler than you think.

Dr. Green is offering complimentary sleep screening as a way to give back to our Strong Ties parents. This cause is especially meaningful to her.

For parents who have struggled with CPAP, we provide custom oral sleep appliances that are comfortable, effective, and portable. These screenings are also beneficial for those who snore, wake up tired, or use a night guard for clenching and grinding.

We appreciate our parents' unwavering support.

Thank you,
Strong Ties Team

Early signs of developmental concerns can appear as young as ages 4 to 6. This is a critical window, when a child’s face is still growing and highly responsive to change. Catching these signs early can make a meaningful difference in your child’s long-term health.

Signs your child may need closer observation include:
・Open-mouth breathing
・Snoring
・Enlarged tonsils
・Tongue ties
・Teeth grinding
・Crowded teeth
・Dark circles under the eyes, which may indicate poor sleep

Sleep-disordered breathing is often overlooked in children, but addressing it early is key.
Snoring, for example, may indicate blocked airflow during sleep. When left untreated, this can disrupt rest and impact brain development. Poor sleep is linked to reduced focus, increased hyperactivity, and behavioral challenges.

According to The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (2019), up to 15% of children have sleep apnea, and 90% of cases go undiagnosed. Many of these children are mistakenly labeled as simply having behavioral issues.

Early intervention helps prevent more serious complications down the road. It doesn’t just support straighter teeth—it addresses crowded teeth, jaw misalignment, speech challenges, and improper oral function. It can also reduce the risk of developing TMJ disorders and chronic facial pain later in life.

We’re here to help and provide resources if you have questions.

Did you know that nearly 90 million Americans snore, and for many, it’s more than just a nighttime nuisance? Snoring can indicate deeper issues like sleep apnea and lead to fatigue, poor focus, and even heart problems.

At Strong Ties Oral Health, Dr. Britney Green specializes in airway-focused dental care, providing snoring solutions that go beyond the surface. From oral appliances for adults to early orthodontics for kids, her aim is to treat the cause, not just the symptoms.

With expertise in sleep breathing disorders, TMD, and orthodontics, Dr. Green helps patients of all ages establish strong, balanced foundations for better sleep and lifelong health.

Outside the clinic, she’s a world traveler, loving wife, and proud mom to “Smalls.” 💙
