Dear Beavers Family Dentistry Patients,

REOPENING MAY 11TH NOTICE:

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are
up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
● Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked to confirm your responses to those same questions again when you are in the office and will also have your temperature
checked.
● We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter our office. You can find
some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
● You will see our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
● Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
● We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as offering each patient the option to notify us by text or phone call when you arrive and waiting in your car to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
● We will encourage and ask for family companions to wait outside the office whenever possible.
● Please remember to use social distancing and face coverings while in the dental office. You may want to bring a jacket or wear warm clothes.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make or change an appointment, please call our office at 919-362-0967.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends for comprehensive dental care on Monday, May 11th.

Sincerely,

All of us at Beavers Family Dentistry of Apex

6 month Cleaning Appointments - COVID - 19 Update

In an effort to maintain your oral health and your regular 6 month cleaning appointment, for the time being we are automatically pre-booking your next cleaning for a similar time/day approximately 6 months from when it was originally scheduled. This will pertain to appointments missed, due to Covid-19, between March 17th and April 30th. You will receive a post card in the mail with your new appointment date and time.
Beginning April 6th, our office will be open on Mondays and Thursdays for the foreseeable future to treat emergent dental needs. We will notify you when our office is open again full time. Appointments can be modified by calling the office on Mondays and Thursdays or via email to [email protected]. We do anticipate opening more days of clinical time, as much as is feasible, to accommodate those patients who have appointments that were canceled. Thank you for your understanding during our efforts to facilitate social distancing.

Beavers Family Dentistry COVID-19 Update

We will be in the office March 18th and 19th to see our patients who have urgent needs only. As advised by the ADA and the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners, we will not perform any elective procedures for at least the next 2 weeks.

Our office will have emergency only services available on March 24th and March 31st from 9am to 1pm. If you have pain, swelling, dental trauma, broken teeth, or feel that your needs are urgent, please call the office and follow the prompts for contacting your dentist. We can then triage your situation to confirm your needs are urgent and then schedule an appointment to help treat your specific problem.

We will update our office plans as the recommendations for dentistry change over the next two weeks.

Thanks to all who have entrusted us with their dental care and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
