Dr. Rima goes above and beyond for even our littlest patients. Today, she sat right down on the floor, eye to eye with a two-year-old, taking the time to make him feel safe, comfortable, and understood before we evaluated him.💙

Building trust starts long before the exam chair. Sometimes the most important part of the visit for our littlest patients (and parents) is simply getting to know the child, easing their anxiety, and making sure they leave with a smile instead of fear. 🦷✨

All proceeds and donations will help support the children’s summer reading program and other wonderful activities the library provides for our kids throughout the year. Every little bit helps! ❤️

Did you know the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex may have had a dental/oral problem? 😬

Fossils show that T. Rex’s jaw had holes in the bone. For a long time, researchers thought these were battle scars—but now many believe they were actually caused by an infection… possibly from bacteria picked up while eating prey.

Basically, even the king of dinosaurs wasn’t safe from oral health issues. Just another reminder that what’s going on in your mouth matters—whether you’re a human or a T. rex! 🦷

👉 Check it out at the Fields Museum- Chicago, where you can see a Tyrannosaurus Rex’s skull up close like Dr. Rima did! It’s real and not a replica. Let us know if you noticed the holes. 🦖
