How do you keep your kids braces free?

The reason for crowded teeth is a jaw that’s not big enough to accommodate the teeth which stems from restrictive airways. Proper airway development is essential in a healthy development of the jaw and surrounding structures.

In our functional dentistry practice, we assess airways and structural development early and redirect the growth to the natural state the body was designed to have.

What’s in your dental fillings may matter to you more than you think. Some materials can actually release substances into your body over a period of time. Some patients may become sensitive or run into systemic stress from this. We use biocompatible materials that work with the body instead of against it.

If your gums are receding, it’s not aging.

Gum recession is usually caused by bite dysfunction or inflammation. This will eventually cause sensitivity, further tooth damage and even a higher risk of infection.

In functional and integrative dentistry, we will address both inflammation and structural causes in order to support long term gum health. This is done through Gentle Dentistry and regenerative therapies.

Are you burned out from having to wear night guards for grinding at night, sleep aids to help you sleep, or long term splints because your jaw doesn’t feel or work right?

There’s always a reason why your body is doing these things and is under stress. If the body’s form and function is correct, none of this would be happening.

At our holistic dentistry practice, we figure out why the body is undergoing this stress and come up with a long term solution that supports your body’s natural design so that you don’t have to wear these forever.

One of my hobbies as a functional dentist and a mom of 4 is to cook healthy foods.

My goal is for the proper growth and development of the kids. I focus on the right ingredients so the nutrients get absorbed.

Example is the nutrients from the herbs will need healthy fats such as olive oil to help them absorb. I hope these tips are helpful for you!!

Here’s what our patients are saying—because your experience matters.

We’re honored to support your journey to better health, naturally.

At the Center for Transformative Dentistry, every patient is welcomed as a unique individual with a unique set of factors to be considered. There’s no universal „one-size-fits-all“ formula that we apply to everyone. By not just focusing solely on the teeth, our team takes a wholistic approach, and conducts a thorough evaluation of the jaw, neck, airway, posture, etc. to gain an overall understanding of each person’s well-being. By seeking out and addressing the underlying causes of dental issues instead of merely managing symptoms, we aim to transform the way patients view oral care-emphasizing its fundamental role in nurturing long-term health and vitality.

This patient experienced just that!

the author of the book Breath has demonstrated that most kids suffer from breathing dysfunction. As a result of this, Kid’s growth and development is compromised and in turn their bodies will try to compensate and in turn will create a chain of medical and dental problems as they age. This is a condition that is often overlooked. This is very important to recognize and correct for children to grow into a healthy adults.

Screen time for your child is more concerning than you think. Long time on the screen is not only unhealthy for their focus but it is also damaging for the posture and growth. Most times kids are tilting their head down or forward which will strain their neck and hurt their posture and growth. Upright postural growth is very important for proper balance in the body.
Compromised posture growth will also affect the alignment of teeth with one another.
