Our Accelerated Online AS-MS in Dental Hygiene students, Christi Warner and Livia Omitto had the incredible opportunity to attend the American Dental Education Association’s (ADEA) two-day Advocacy Day program in Washington, DC alongside our dental faculty, Margherita Fontana, DDS, PhD, Ann M. Decker, DMD, PhD, and U-M School of Dentistry's Dean, Jacques E. Nör, DDS, MS, PhD. This experience allowed them to engage with leaders in dental education, explore emerging trends in the profession, and gain valuable insights into the future of oral health care.
We are proud of our students for embracing opportunities that support their academic, professional, and leadership development. Their participation reflects the dedication and passion that define our program.
Thank you to our dental faculty and Dean Nör for mentoring and supporting the next generation of dental professionals. We look forward to seeing how these experiences inspire our students as they continue their educational journeys.

Meet Said Al-Jazaeri, a fourth-year dental student! Said previously completed the dental hygiene program at the School of Dentistry and a dental assisting program at Washtenaw Community College.
