If you are looking for a great dentist in the Anderson area, then you are in luck because Carolina Oaks is the best! I had so many horrible experiences with dentists in the past that I was truly terrified of "going to the dentist" and had almost given up on ever finding a good one, but then I found Carolina Oaks! Dr Thomas Layne was so very kind and gentle with me, and even more importantly, he does great work, so now I no longer have to be fearful of going to the dentist. His daughter is also a dentist there, and she seems to be a lot like him, so yes, I highly recommend Carolina Oaks, Anderson, SC. ❤

Highly recommend this dentist office. Front desk staff, Hygenists, assistants and dentists conduct themselves professionally and with courtesy. It's common advice to always brush your teeth right after eating. This is actually a myth! 🙅

It's better to wait a bit after eating acidic foods (like citrus fruits or soda). After eating acidic foods, your tooth enamel temporarily softens, and brushing right away can wear away this weakened enamel. It's best to rinse your mouth with water to help neutralize acids and freshen your breath. Wait 30 minutes before brushing your teeth.
