Harris Family Dentistry is currently without power. In the aftermath of last night’s storm we know the City of Anderson is working diligently to restore power to many homes and businesses.

Our office is currently without internet or phones due to an Comcast outage. We are told the issue should be resolved by 3:30 this afternoon. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our best to work through this!

Our private practice located in Anderson, IN is looking for a temporary part time dental hygienist to cover a maternity leave in May through July. This position will be part time Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays with the option of full time if preferred. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain work experience as a dental hygienist or add additional working hours over the summer! We are very flexible on working days and hours.

The practice was established over 40 years ago and Dr. Harris purchased the practice in 2016. We have a great patient base and a wonderful team! We are looking for a motivated, caring, team player who is will educate our patients on the benefits of maintaining good oral health. Our office has family friendly office hours, Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

February is National Children's Dental Health Month!

Early childhood tooth decay has become the most common childhood disease, impacting more children than asthma. According to the ADA, more than 40% of children have tooth decay by the time they reach Kindergarten.

To help prevent decay be sure to schedule routine checkups, start brushing with their very first tooth, brush twice a day, floss between any touching teeth, and avoid fruit juices, sports drinks, fruit snacks, and sticky candies!
