🦷💙 STACI’S FINAL FLOSS! 💙🦷

Today, we celebrated the retirement of someone who has been such a special part of our dental family, our wonderful hygienist, Staci! 🥹

Staci walked through our doors as a fill-in hygienist. At one point, she even asked, “So… how long am I filling in for?” 😂 Well, as it turns out, we just never wanted her to leave!

If you know Staci, you know she seems to know just about everyone in town! Whether it was through basketball, volleyball, baseball, or another connection, it wasn’t unusual to hear a patient walk by and say, “OMG, Staci! You work here?!” 🏀🏐⚾️

But that’s just Staci. She has a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. Over the years, she’s shared countless stories, laughs, and conversations with her patients and coworkers, making our office a little brighter along the way.

While saying goodbye is bittersweet, we couldn’t be happier for her as she begins this next chapter. She’s trading her hygiene instruments for more time with her parents, more memories with her grandkids, and new adventures outside of Alaska. ❤️

Staci, thank you for the years of dedication, laughter, friendship, and care you’ve given to our patients and our team. Our office won’t be quite the same without you, and you’ll be missed more than you know!

After all these years of taking care of everyone else’s smiles, it’s finally time to enjoy yours! 🥹💙

Happy retirement, Staci! You’ve certainly earned it! 🎉✈️

It’s Dental Hygiene Month, making it the perfect time to refresh your daily routine. The “Daily 4” are simple habits that can help support a healthy smile: brush twice a day, floss daily, rinse, and chew sugar-free gum. Small habits practiced consistently can make a big difference in your oral health!

Trends come and go, but a genuine, confident smile never goes out of style. It doesn’t cost anything or require a special occasion. Just share it freely and often. And when you love your smile, doing that comes even more naturally.

Today, we celebrate the power of a smile. Research shows that nearly half of people say a smile is the first feature they notice when meeting someone new. Your smile speaks before you say a word. If you don’t feel confident sharing yours, we would love to help. Everyone deserves to smile without hesitation!

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honoring those who have faced breast cancer, supporting those currently navigating their journey, and remembering those we’ve lost. May awareness lead to earlier detection, greater support, and continued hope for the future. Together, we can remind those affected by breast cancer that they are not alone.

Tooth sensitivity may seem minor, but it can be a sign that something needs attention. Sensitivity can be caused by enamel erosion, gum recession, cavities, cracked teeth, or other dental concerns. Sensitive toothpaste may help temporarily, but finding the underlying cause is key to protecting your tooth and preventing the problem from getting worse. If you’re experiencing ongoing sensitivity, it’s worth having it checked!
