But as your dental family, we have one very important rule to share today: Scotch tape can fix a lot of things, but it can’t fix a smile! 😉

Whether you have a chipped tooth, a loose crown, or a broken retainer, please skip the DIY tape job and leave it to the pros. We promise our fixes are much more comfortable, completely invisible, and fully dentist-approved!

Happy National Ice Cream Day! ☀️ We are incredibly lucky to have the amazing Two Scoops right here in town to help us beat the summer heat.

While the team at Anamosa Dental loves a cold, sweet treat just as much as anyone, we know that for some of our patients, biting into a scoop causes a sudden ouch! ⚡

If tooth sensitivity is keeping you from enjoying a cone, here are 3 quick tips:

🥄 Team Spoon: Use a spoon instead of biting directly into cold treats with your front teeth.

🚫 Skip the Sticky Stuff: Keep caramels and sticky toppings to a minimum so they don't cling to your enamel.

💦 The Water Rinse: Swish with a little water after your treat to wash away the sugars until you can brush.
