Asking your dental team to explain the issue in plain language, show you x-rays or photos, and provide a clear cost estimate can make treatment decisions easier. If needed, ask about payment options or which treatment should be done first. Taking care of dental problems early is often simpler, less costly, and better for your long-term oral health!

Chewing with healthy teeth increases blood flow to the brain and stimulates the release of neurotransmitters, which are chemicals vital for memory and learning.
Poor dental health (such as missing teeth or a misaligned bite) can reduce the effectiveness of chewing. This leads to less blood flow and fewer neurotransmitters being released, which may slow down cognitive processing and memory retention.

Hello again dear Family of Patients!

It seems like 22 years went by in a flash! Given the end of the recent pandemic alongside with the ever-changing climate of health care, we stand as a bastion of solo practice in the area.

Happy Independence Day!

Most of you will remember that awhile back motorcycle-riding dentist Dr. Meyer retired and sold his practice at 1661 W. Broadway to Dr. Arwin.
Five years later she decided to concentrate on being a Juvenile Hall dentist; she then sold the practice to me and my husband Uwe Jens Gemba, Fairmont Private School Vice President of Business Development at that time.

As my ever-loyal business partner, Uwe has contributed greatly to the smooth running, preservation and safety of the practice’s AI which allowed us to establish and run the practice through all the ups-and-downs of living.
Liz Galvez is supporting the practice working remotely now. She is looking forward to sending all her kids to school this fall, enabling her to see you more often at the office.
