Sometimes your dog gets too excited when you are grooming them and put their head into your tooth! 🐾
In this case it was the patient's husky that was the culprit of the broken tooth. Luckily, she came in with the piece of broken tooth and we were able to properly reapproximate it for her.
Once we were ready, we were able to restore the tooth definitively with a well matched crown.

Here are some tips for your teeth
1) Make sure to drink plenty of water when enjoying your candy
2) Try to avoid any chewy or sticky candy
3) Don't suck on sour candy for long periods
4) Try not to snack on candy for the whole day

According to the City of Hope, "Breast cancer rates are increasing for women under 50 in Orange County. Orange County has the 13th highest incidence rate in the state with this disease type. By comparison, Los Angeles County ranked 26th in the state."

It is important to know how prevalent breast cancer is in our community, and we hope everyone is prioritizing their preventative care. Please get involved in the fight against the disease through donation to research, participating in fundraisers, advocating for policies, or getting screened for breast cancer.
