🍂🍁Fall might just be our favorite time of year. The cooler weather, changing leaves, and finally being able to spend a whole afternoon outside without melting. 😂

Dr. Jun’s kids spent yesterday apple picking at Dodd's Hillcrest Orchards and came home with plenty of crisp, juicy Rosalee apples that have the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. 🍎 We brought some of their harvest to the office to share with our patients!

If you’re in this week, please help yourself to one. Nothing tastes quite like an apple the kids picked themselves on a beautiful fall day. ❤️

🍅🥒🌶️Christy’s garden has had another great year! She brought in this beautiful basket of homegrown veggies to the office and is sharing the harvest with our patients. We’re pretty lucky to have a gardener like her on our team🥰!

And as Dr. Jun’s kids always sing, “Fruits and vegetables keep us alive, always remember to eat your five!” 😉 Feel free to grab something fresh on your way out while they last!

Facing extractions can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re worried about leaving without teeth.

Immediate dentures are made ahead of time and placed the same day the teeth are removed, so patients can leave with teeth in place while healing begins.

A broken tooth does not always mean a long period of going without a tooth replacement.

In this case, the tooth was removed and an implant was placed on the same day. After about 4 months of healing, the implant was restored with a custom crown designed to bring back chewing function and blend naturally with the surrounding teeth.

Immediate implant placement is not right for every situation. It depends on bone support, infection level, bite forces, spacing, gum tissue, and overall oral health. That is why careful evaluation and planning are so important.

At Amherst Neighborhood Dentistry, Dr. Jun takes a detail-focused approach to implant treatment, from diagnosis and placement to the final restoration. The goal is not just to replace a tooth, but to restore comfort, function, and long-term confidence.
