At your complimentary consultation, Dr. Stark enjoys spending time talking with you. He’ll ask about your life, health, hobbies, and treatment goals. Following your exam, he’ll then create your unique care plan and walk you through it. By clearly explaining what’s happening in your mouth, how treatment works, and encouraging your questions, he and our team make sure you’re able to make an informed decision about orthodontic treatment; this is your smile, after all!

Yogurt & cottage cheese
Pasta
Oatmeal
Pancakes
Rice
Mashed potatoes
Fish
Shredded chicken
Soft muffins

🚫 Try to avoid:
Popcorn
Ice
Hard candy
Nuts
Chewy caramel
Sticky gummies
Whole apples (slice them instead!)
Corn on the cob (cut it off first!)

Making braces-friendly choices helps prevent broken brackets and keeps your treatment on track! If you are questioning if a candy is too hard or sticky bring it in and Dr Stark will dispose of it for you. 😉
