“Every time I take a selfie, I keep staring at my side teeth”.

Both lateral incisors are turned in a way it makes them look smaller and darker. And in certain angles in the photos, it looks like they’re missing altogether.

Congenitally (from birth, never developed) missing lateral incisors.

I am happy that:
1. His orthodontist made space for the implants vs moving canines in to close the spaces
2. His surgeon placed implants at a perfect angle.

I am NOT happy about the final (before photos) outcome. So was the patient, for obvious reasons. I can’t tell you who his dentist was. Because I don’t want to know. 🫣

We approached the case comprehensively and treated the smile, not the individual teeth.

1. Gums were sculpted as close as the biology allows without doing anything invasive.
2. Shade is properly selected to blend seamlessly with the rest of his teeth, yet have a natural fresh look. BL3.
3. Proportions of overall teeth display were analyzed to properly design the case
4. Veneers on canines and centrals
5. Screw-retained crows on laterals
