Maintaining proper dental hygiene from an early age helps lay a foundation for oral success in the future. Dr. Leach provides specialized dentistry for infants, children, and adolescents in a “child-friendly” environment. Our goal is to create a space where kids are excited about coming back again and again. With this in mind, the office is decorated as if you are escaping to a cabin in the mounta

ins. Play tables, TVs, and a fish tank reside in the waiting area while a teen-only room can be found in the back; there are TVs located in the ceiling above the dental chairs with movies playing to help the children relax and feel at home. In our office, we focus on preventive care to help each child have a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Dr. Leach also specializes in providing dental services for children with disabilities by creating a safe, comfortable environment and a high level of trust both with the child and parent. The newest addition to the team is Honey, our in-house therapy dog. Since we have introduced Honey to the practice , we have seen an increase in the calmness and overall experience of our patients. Whether, your child is getting a routine cleaning or more extensive work, Honey will be there to comfort them before, during, and after. We are proud to serve the families in Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Cu***ng, and the surrounding counties. We are currently accepting new patients and would love for you to come by for a visit!

Did you recently just get back from a Spring Break??? A vacation can typically throw off oral habits which can lead to tooth sensitivity.

Here’s a list of what usually happens:
1. More Sugar Intake Than Usual
2. Skipped or Rushed Brushing in The Morning and @ Night
3. More Acidic Drinks like Sodas & Juices
4. Temperature Changes from Jumping to Diffrent Climates (Cold > Hot)
5. Dry Mouth From Travel, Especially From Flying or Long Car Rides

The good news is that this kind of sensitivity is temporary and improves once your child gets back into their normal routine.

• Get back to brushing 2x/day for 2 MINUTES
• Push water instead of sugary drinks
• Offer less cold food for a few days
