Hello everyone! I hope this finds you all healthy and safe!
I am excited to announce that we will be re-opening our practice for all procedures and services on Monday May 4!! Along with this re-opening comes many new protocols and policies to keep us all healthy and safe! Our top priority is the health and safety of our patients and team members, and these measures have been implemented to ensure a healthy visit for all.
The "new normal" for your appointment will start with a curbside check-in. A team member will be waiting outside for your arrival. Upon arrival, we will update your health history with specific Covid questions and guidelines. We will also take your temperature with a touch-less thermometer that needs to get within an inch of your forehead. We will do all of this while you are still in your vehicle. We will ask that you please remain in your vehicle until instructed to enter the building as our waiting area/reception room is closed. Our team members will direct you in AND out of the building to keep social distancing measures in place as best as possible. Only after a healthy medical update is established, will you be allowed to enter the building. There will be hand sanitizing stations available as soon as you enter. We have also purchased multiple HEPA and Carbon air purifying units that will be placed throughout the office. These will filter the air and remove 99.7% of viruses, germs, and bacteria as small as .3 microns. As you are seated in the treatment room you will be asked to rinse for 30 seconds with Chlorhexidine mouth rinse before any treatment is rendered.
There will also be changes to the PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) of our team. N95 masks and full face shields will be worn when treatment is rendered. All team members will also check and record their temperatures at the beginning of the day and at regular intervals throughout the day.
This is our "new normal" for the foreseeable future. We are all excited to get back to caring for our patients, but also want to stress the importance of keeping a healthy and safe environment for patients and team members alike. Please call the office (770 663 3436) with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing everyone again!
