Dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush (or brush head) every 3 months — sooner if the bristles start to fray. A worn-out toothbrush doesn't clean as well, even if you can't tell just by looking at it.

Pro tip: set a reminder on your phone, or swap it out every time the season changes. Your smile will thank you. 😊

Myth: Flossing right before your cleaning cancels out months of skipping it. Fact: Flossing clears plaque from between teeth your toothbrush can't reach — and it only works as a daily habit, not an occasional scramble.

Good news: it takes less than two minutes a day. Your gums will notice the difference. 💚

Every October, we celebrate National Dental Hygiene Month — a reminder that a healthy smile comes down to four simple habits: brushing, flossing, rinsing, and regular checkups.

Small daily habits add up to a lifetime of healthy smiles. Which one could use a little extra attention this month? 😊

Did you know digital X-rays allow us to detect issues up to 70% earlier than traditional film?

🦷 At our practice, we use digital radiography to get a clearer, more precise picture of your oral health — helping us plan treatment, catch problems early, and monitor changes over time. It's faster, safer, and better for you and our team.

Quick tip from your dental team! 🪥

Did you know you should be replacing your toothbrush — or electric toothbrush head — every 3 months? Once the bristles start to fray, they're far less effective at keeping plaque at bay. It's one of the easiest habits you can adopt for a healthier smile every single day.

💬 Drop a 🙋 in the comments if you honestly can't remember the last time you replaced yours!
