Military life can mean new homes, new schools, new routines โ€” and sometimes new orthodontists.

If your family is transferring to Fort Belvoir or the surrounding area, weโ€™re here to help make the orthodontic part a little easier. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

FIO welcomes military families and understands that plans can change.

Our goal is simple: provide personalized care, clear communication, and a team you can count on.

Thank you for serving. Weโ€™re honored to serve your family, too.

Braces and clear aligners may get most of the attention, but sometimes your smile needs a little extra help along the way. ๐Ÿฆทโœจ

Palatal expanders, spacers, TADs, Herbst appliancesโ€ฆ what do all of these orthodontic appliances actually do?

Our latest blog breaks down some of the most common appliances we use at FIO, including:

๐Ÿงก What each appliance does
๐Ÿงก Why your orthodontist might recommend one
๐Ÿงก Which appliances can help with jaw growth, spacing, or bite correction
๐Ÿงก How appliances can work alongside braces
๐Ÿงก What to expect if you or your child needs one

If Dr. Lu or Dr. Schneider mentions an appliance at your next visit, youโ€™ll know exactly what theyโ€™re talking about. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Happy National Good Neighbor Day! ๐Ÿก๐Ÿงก

Weโ€™re proud to be part of a community where people show up for one another. Being a good neighbor can be as simple as saying hello, checking in on someone, lending a hand, or picking up a little trash while youโ€™re out. Small acts of kindness help make our neighborhoods feel more connected and cared for.

Whatโ€™s one thing you can do today to be a good neighbor?
