Dr. Dionisio founded MA’s Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in 2010 with the vision of passionately providing consistent high-quality, comfortable dental care to patients of all ages in the community. We would love to meet you and are more than happy to assist you with all your dental needs or concerns. Dr. Janice Dionisio was born in Rota, Spain and grew up in Virginia Beach. At age sixteen she knew she wanted to be a dentist. She graduated as number one in her Bachelors of Science Biochemistry major at Old Dominion University. Dr. Dionisio earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Temple University School of Dentistry graduating magna cm laude. She has been living and serving the DC metropolitan area since 2007. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation., American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and American Association of Women Dentists. She continually updates her clinical skills and knowledge with numerous hours in continuing education, including cosmetic dentistry as she did at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies. Dr. Dionisio passionately cares for her patients and strives to educate and help them achieve optimal oral health. She provides specialized procedures such as Invisalign clear braces, TMJ therapy, and Sedation for patients with dental phobia. Dr. Dionisio also gives back to the community by being involved with mentoring programs for the youth in public schools of NOVA and the free dental clinic of NOVA. She is also involved with AACD's "Give Back A Smile" Program that restores broken smiles of those who suffered domestic violence. For leisure, she enjoys international travel, water activities, Azukabom classes, nature hikes, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.
