Nearly one million Christians are living out their faith in one of the most dangerous places on earth to do so — and most of us scroll right past it.
These are not people worshipping in comfortable buildings with no risk attached. Every gathering, every prayer meeting, every open confession of faith could cost them their job, their family, their freedom, or their life. The stakes are not abstract. They are immediate and they are real every single day.
While the Church in comfortable nations debates style, preference, and convenience, the Church in Iran is deciding daily whether their faith is worth the cost. They keep deciding yes. That level of conviction should stop every one of us in our tracks and make us examine what we actually believe and how much we actually mean it.
Stop scrolling and spend 60 seconds praying for these believers right now. They are holding the line in places and under pressures that most of us will never be tested to face. They deserve more than our silence.
