I have read and/or listened to sayings like this one hundreds if not thousands of times in my life. Telling all of us to live in the present. I would go on and continue as usual, not really understanding or fully feeling what it really meant. The other day as I was holding my fur baby, Jax. I stopped and actually thought about the moment in great detail. I finally understood and felt what living in the present, in the moment, really means. I finally realized that one day loved ones, be it pets, family, friends, won't be here. The future is not guaranteed, the past is gone, only the present, the moment, is guaranteed. Take time to take in the moments in detail. Use all your senses to take it all in, enjoy the present, enjoy the moments.

I was very fortunate that I was exposed to dentistry while in the Navy. I learned early on that I had a passion for it. I was very and still am very happy with my career choice. The ability to help people to live a better quality of life has been amazing. The impact that a dental team can have on people, on our patients, is incredible.

What I didn't know or expect is how much people, our patients, would positively impact my life. I'm more grateful and appreciative of the growth that our patients have facilitated in my life than anything else associated with dentistry. I have truly listened to every story from patients and spent time digesting what I was privileged enough to hear from them. I'll never be able to repay our patients for the impact they've had upon my life. All I can say is thank you, you'll never know how much you've positively impacted me, I'm a better person because you decided to come in.

It also about the frequency you consume carbohydrates, its better to consume your carbohydrates with meals and rinse with water after your meals.
