Responsibilities

This individual will be a main source of communication for our patients and families in scheduling recall appointments and answering questions

The Receptionist/Appointment Scheduler should be highly organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent customer service skills

The Dental Assistant provides chairside assistance to dentists and provides direct patient care as it relates to dentistry. He/she is responsible for taking x-rays, prepping patients for treatment, instrument sterilization and other duties as needed. Our staff strives to work at the top of their scope and delivers compassionate, quality patient care.

The Ideal candidate can expect the job duties to include, but not limited to:

· Assist Dr. with all general dentistry procedures

· Able to anticipate Dr’s needs and have instruments and tray ready for each patient being seen

· Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology

· Able to Take Digital intraoral X-rays and Panoramic X-rays

· Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance

· Sterilization and Disinfection of Instruments

· Sterilization/cleaning of treatment rooms

· Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology

· Dental License as required by Ohio

· Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm; Friday’s from 8:30-2pm.

· Minimum 1 year 4 handed dentistry required

Candidate Qualities:

· A person who loves working with people, and will go above and beyond for patient needs

· Possess outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills,

· An attentive chair side manner

· Team Player who is willing to help out where and when needed

· Good attitude and willingness to learn and grow

· Organized with excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task

· Technique we can teach – candidate quality is unique and cannot be compromised

Salary DOE.
